Denise, an Irish woman who moved from Ireland to Liverpool during the 70s, has told me about her life living in England as an Irishwoman, which was fascinating.

The only items made in Liverpool and showcased as new collections for this caravan are two signs representing Liverpool football teams: Liverpool FC, which originally had a Protestant background, and Everton, which originally had a Catholic background. I believed that these items would be a wonderful addition to my project, especially when I show the caravan in Liverpool. However, these installations might only be during this exhibition in Liverpool, as both teams are British anyway.
このキャラバンのためにリバプールで制作され、新コレクションとして展示されたのは、リバプールのサッカーチームを象徴する2つのサインボードだけです。リバプールFCは元々プロテスタント系でしたが、エバートンは元々カトリック系でした。これらのアイテムは、特にリバプールでキャラバンを展示する際に、私のプロジェクトに素晴らしいアクセントを加えてくれるだろうと確信していました。しかし、どちらのチームもイギリスのチームなので、これらのインスタレーションはリバプールでの展覧会期間中のみとなるかもしれません。
Other new collections I didn’t post online are a combination of Irish sea moss and a Guinness advertisement sign on the Irish side and a combination of Cornish seaweed and an English ale advertisement sign on the British side.
Yesterday was the last day of the project in Liverpool!
