The fifth Day. I finally met Joel of Make, who was responsible for my project in Make North Docks, as well as Patrick, who is a director of Independent Biennial. It was a surprise. Eavan, who lives in Cork, Ireland, and has seen my email, came to visit my caravan today during bad weather.
5日目。Make North Docksでのプロジェクトを担当してくれたMakeのジョエルと、インディペンデント・ビエンナーレのディレクターであるパトリックにようやく会えました。アイルランドのコーク在住のイーヴァンが、私のメールマガジンを見て、今日は悪天候の中、キャンピングカーに来てくれて驚きました。
In the evening, I fixed the interior light, which I had believed was not working because the cable had been disconnected for the last 12 years; however, after checking the electric current with a tester, I realised that the light would only work when I connected it to an external electricity source at 220-240V at the campsite. I replaced the snapped bulb socket with a new one and attached a new bulb. It has been lighted for the first time since I started this project in 2013.
夕方、12年間ケーブルが断線していたせいで点灯していないと思っていた室内灯を修理しました。しかし、テスターで電流を測ったところ、キャンプ場で220～240Vの外部電源に接続しないと点灯しないことが分かりました。壊れた電球ソケットを新しいものに交換し、新しい電球を取り付けました。2013年にこのプロジェクトを開始して以来、初めてライトが点灯しました。
