3-day solo exhibition "Borderline" @ Artlink, Fort Dunree, Co. Donegal, Ireland

I’m having a 3-day solo exhibition, “Borderline”, at Artlink, Fort Dunree, Co. Donegal, Ireland, on this bank holiday weekend of Saturday the 25th, Sunday the 26th, and Monday (bank holiday) the 27th of October, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, not only representing my art caravan, the “Borderline Project” outdoor area, but also representing “Brexit Sausages” & “Crossing the Border” in their gallery space. I hope some of you can make it!

Shiro Masuyama's 3-day solo exhibition, “Borderline”, will take place at Artlink, Fort Dunree on Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th, and Monday (bank holiday) 27th October, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Shiro Masuyama is a socially engaged artist originally from Japan. Following his international residencies at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin in 2006 and Flax Art Studios in 2009, he relocated to Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he has been based ever since. As an artist from Japan who has established his home in Northern Ireland, he is uniquely positioned to explore how identity can be shaped by the prevailing political forces around us. Through his 3-day solo exhibition at ArtLink, he will present his three important projects centred on the theme of "Borderline", which include "Borderline Project" (2013), "Brexit Sausages" (2022), and "Crossing the border" (2010). The Arts Council of Ireland and the Centre for Creative Practices kindly support this show.

All welcome, we look forward to seeing you there!
